Job description of Engine Calibration Engineer
Responsibilities: Calibration and validation of Air intake, Torque and Ignition System for the specific
engine/vehicle control unit based on the project requirements.
Calibration and optimization to meet Emission and other legislative requirements using
Three Way Catalyst (TWC) functions for the specific engine/vehicle control unit based
on the project requirements.
Calibration and validation of Engine/CEV/tractors/Genset functions for the specific
engine/vehicle control unit based on the project requirements
Calibration and validation of Diagnosis functions for the specific engine/vehicle control
unit based on the project requirements.
Calibration and validation of Safety functions for the specific engine/vehicle control unit
based on the project requirements.
Calibration and validation of Vehicle functions for the specific engine/vehicle control
unit based on the project requirements.
Calibration project management tasks execution preparing reports and documentation as
per the defined Calibration Process for the specific engine/vehicle control unit based on
the project requirements.
Experience:
Candidates must possess at least an Engineering/equivalent degree.
At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Understand engine dyno control vehicles.
Should have proficiency in Microsoft tools, and awareness of INCA and OBD diagnostic
tool.
